Birthday Dinner 2010

I had another lovely birthday dinner this year. It was at NOCA, definately a favorite. These aren't the most flattering photos of folks, but it's what I've got.
The food at NOCA is really amazing. And the whole, ambiance, service and pacing, makes for a great evening.
Here is Lezlee, Mark and Sue.







They make their own cotton candy and bring it after your entree. It is not like any kind you've ever had before. It had a french vanilla flavor and I loved it!

Meeting my cousin Jerry

Right after Christmas, I got to meet my cousin Jerry, for the first time. He lives in Oklahoma.

I am going to the Grammy's!

My friend, Geoff, gave me the greatest Birthday/Christmas gift. He went to a charity auction earlier this year and bought a package trip to the Grammy's! And he is inviting me! How awesome is that!

He gave me a piece of red carpet. On it were two black contact paper footprints. It said put your right and left foot here. Then I got the framed paper that said I was going to the Grammy's (red carpet!). Pretty fun way to present it.

Anyway, I will keep you posted on how it all goes...!

Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas!
I enjoyed a prolonged holiday season, meeting friends for meals and exchanging gifts. It was very enjoyable.
Then Christmas Eve I headed into work from 6pm to 6am Christmas morning.
We had some festive visitors who delivered goodies!














Some of the staff was dressed in appropriate holiday attire.












We were ready for Santa with our stockings and tree. And when possible, we tracked his progress throughout the night.











In spite of the fact that we were actually VERY BUSY! Smiles were on everyone's faces. So sad for those who were sick on Christmas.












Even those in need of a hair cut were smiling.













We had a breakfast potluck and LOTS of food.












After about 5 and half hours of sleep. My friend, Penny and I went out for a very nice Christmas dinner at the Arizona Grand Resort. Here is Penny encouraging me to take her picture.
It was nice to just relax and be served dinner after being up all night and it was a beautiful day.














We had a lovely setting to enjoy our meal in.



























And then we enjoyed some Christmas lights.
