
I have heard people rhapsodizing about how beautiful dogwood trees are in bloom. I had seen photos, but had never seen one in person and wanted to. When we planned this trip to Tennessee, North Carolina and Virginia, I didn't realize that we would be in an area of dogwoods and that we would be there when they were blooming.

I was so excited when I saw them and recognized them! They were both "wild" in the woods and in people's yards.

It was hard to not take picture after picture of them.

I bought a set of dogwood earrings and a pin.
