After the pieces of glacier ice float out of the lagoon and out to sea, some pieces are washed back to shore on the black basaltic beach near by. I have seen some stunning photos from this beach. I think sunlight would have helped make my photos more amazing.
Also being pretty wet and messed up from our tour of the lagoon, I didn't spend a lot of time out there taking photos.
Still it was a cool place!
